Cathryn O’Shea
The O'Shea family joined me in the studio to capture that beautiful moment when a family of three becomes four. It’s completely natural for parents to feel a little nervous—especially when there's an older sibling involved. Will they behave? Will they smile? Will they want to join in at all? Honestly, please don’t worry.
With over 20 years of experience photographing children, I’ve developed gentle, playful ways to help little ones feel at ease. I never pressure older siblings to be in photos—they always warm up in their own time, especially when they get curious about what’s going on with their new baby brother or sister. And when the baby is being changed or fed, it’s often the perfect time to give big brother or sister their own little moment in the spotlight.
This shoot was no different. We kept things simple and natural—just the way I like it. Baby Connor wore a gorgeous white outfit to start, before we changed things up with a pair of my sage green cable knit bloomers and a soft cashmere wrap to add a little texture and shape. No props, no fuss—just pure, honest images that let the love between your family shine through.
If you’d love relaxed, natural photos that truly capture your growing family, just drop me a message. I’ll be more than happy to send over some info to help you get started.
