Hi, I’m Alexis, but call me Lex – photographer, wife, mother, baker, tea drinker and serial list-maker.

I create natural, authentic, timeless images from my relaxed and cosy studio space. With over 20 years of experience behind the camera—including 10 years in a high street studio, time spent as a mobile photographer and even working out of my dining room—I’m now lucky enough to have my dream studio, purpose built at home. It’s filled with soft natural light and designed to feel warm, welcoming and homely. I love that my clients feel just as ease here as I do—it truly is my happy place.

After so many years in the industry, I’m exactly where I want to be. Working for myself, at home, in my slippers (bliss!), doing what I love most—capturing beautiful moments and creating work I’m genuinely proud of.

People often ask what I love photographing the most. Honestly? I can’t choose. Whether it’s a pregnancy, newborn, sitter, one year or family session, I’m in my element. I’m not just here to take pictures—I’m here to build relationships. Many of my clients have become friends and some of the best conversations happen during feeding breaks (think Netflix chats, food talk, and yes—nappy explosions!).
