I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the Pitchfork family into the studio recently for a beautiful newborn shoot. Not only did they bring their gorgeous new baby girl, Luna, but they also brought along their fur baby, Lady. I always say that family isn’t just about people—it’s about pets too. If you’d love to include your dog in your family shoot, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate it.
Lady was an absolute star in front of the camera—posing perfectly—and it’s clear little Luna is already learning from her big fur sister! We captured three lovely outfit changes for Luna during the session, adding a bit of variety to the final gallery. That said, I always make sure the focus is on keeping your baby calm, comfortable and happy. If that means only one or two outfit changes, that’s absolutely fine. A relaxed baby makes for a relaxed shoot—and that always shines through in the photos.
