Joe Taylor
Kimberly had been not-so-subtly nudging Joe for a photo shoot with me for quite some time—sending him links, dropping hints and making it very clear how much she wanted to capture some memories with their gorgeous baby boy, Cooper. When I announced my Mother’s Day mini sessions, she sent Joe yet another link. What she didn’t know was that Joe had actually been planning to surprise her all along! Unfortunately, the surprise didn’t quite go as planned… but hey, we got there in the end—and that’s what counts.
And wow, was it worth the wait!
Cooper is eight months old and in full exploration mode. He was an absolute delight during the session—crawling, giggling, snuggling up to Mum and flashing those beautiful eyes right at the camera. I even managed to get Dad to jump into a shot or two, because let’s be honest: no family shoot is complete without at least a couple of those all-in moments, even if the gift was meant for Kimberly and Cooper.
These three were spoiled for choice and ended up selecting the entire mini shoot gallery—there were just too many sweet, expressive, natural moments to narrow it down. That’s exactly what I aim for with my sessions: relaxed, real and full of personality.
Just a reminder—mini shoots are seasonal! I typically offer them only three or four times a year. They're perfect for families with little ones who might not have the patience for a full studio session. At just 20 minutes, they’re short, sweet and jam-packed with magic.
If you’re thinking of jumping in on the next one, keep an eye out—you won’t want to miss it.
